The presence and existence of  professor Johny  as new director on State polytechnic of Jakarta bring many positive impact and colors in  many aspect of academic life. We can see from indication, the process of acceleration and upgrading the Institution Capacity and the Education Program Affectivity wanted and requested by Directorate of Higher Education for making eligible to get accreditation and certification.
Professor Johny, give serious attention by conducting, presenting and hiring consultant to make all the committee involved understand, know what to do, how to do and why we have to do all.
    On every occasion he never comment the policy long years ago, but the most important thing he has to do asking and persuading all to look ahead for progress. On his mind, he said that the recent high education competition will be strict and the stakeholder already gets smart to choose the place to study. No more distinction between state university and private university, the regulation said that there will be the same treatment given by the government to reward and punish high educational institution. The arranging portfolio and the evidence of previous age activity showing the industry need and request our output, will be one of many other factors to get good accreditation. The qualification of 15 standard element need to arrange, improve and prepare are: Leadership, Student Affair, Human resources, Curriculum, Infrastructure, Budgeting, Governance, Management System, Academic Atmosphere, Information System, Internal quality control, The output, Research and Study program.  Something we don’t have, make us realize that how essential saving and caring document. On leadership standard, State Polytechnic of Jakarta must have director selection regulation showing the procedure of selection, not election. On student affair, we must able to show the evidence management’s support in directing their activities and there should be treasure study of student satisfaction toward polytechnic services. In order to show that polytechnic really care to develop, upgrade and empower human resources, the document is needed. One qualification, all lecturers must be master degree and there should be the logic and the balance quantity between students and lecturers available.
    On curriculum affair, state polytechnic of Jakarta must show the fund allocating for improving and developing study programs curriculum. In learning system, polytechnic. must develop learning system  based on vision, mission and the goal of institution. In academic atmosphere, there should be a policy to indicate appreciation and rewards given for student and lecturer plus the schedule of seminar, workshop, exhibition, training and some others event. For quality assurance, there should be quality assurance implementation, and the standard of achievement at least in education, research an society service. The government ask and request polytechnic to submit graduate data. The data could be vary, from the period of waiting period to get the job, to treasure the work field, and finally to compare the consistence between competency and the field they are working today. All item are needed, documented and compiled for submission to get accreditation and finally State Polytechnic of Jakarta could go to the world class rank polytechnic and of course, it is suitable with the vision “ Goes to International Standardized”PNJ menjadi politeknik unggulan yang bertaraf internasional dalam bidang rekayasa dan tata niaga.
